Ideally, you should book a travel vaccination appointment 6 to 8 weeks before you travel, in case you need a course of vaccinations. However, even if you don’t have enough time left before you travel it is still important to book an appointment, as in many cases some protection is better than none. Some vaccinations are also available on an accelerated schedule.
